What Love Would Do

Sometimes I forget that my feelings matter. That I’m a person too. And that I deserve the same compassion that I give to other people. Sometimes I need to remind myself what grace looks like. What it means to forgive myself. How to let things go. Sometimes I need to remember what love would do.

Love would speak to me in a gentle voice.

Love would hold my hand.

Love would comfort me and tell me everything is going to be okay.

Love would help me get out of bed.

Love would remind me to fuel my body.

Love would let me rest when exhaustion has set in.

Love would choose sleep over one more episode.

Love would remind me that I'm doing the best I can.

Love would tell me that I'm worthy.

Love would help me believe that I'm a badass.

Love would show me that I deserve to be loved.

Love would tell me that I'm not alone.

Love would set boundaries.

Love would say I love you.

Love would encourage me to keep going.

Love would tell me how strong I am.

Love would congratulate me just for showing up.

Love would lace up my running shoes and push me out the door.

Love would talk me out of that third glass of wine.

Love would help me stay on track.

Love would let me cry.

Love would tell me to get back up again.

Love would teach me to allow my feelings.

Love would show me that I am loved.

Love would encourage me to speak up for myself.

Love would show me how to have my own back.

Love would teach me to forgive.

Love would remind me to breathe.

Love would help me trust myself.

Love would ask for help.

Love would accept me just the way I am.

Love would hold me when I fall apart.

Love would put me back together again.

Love would set boundaries.

Love would remind me to trust my intuition.

Love would tell me to slow down.

Love would allow me to dream big.

Love would apologize.

Love would encourage me.

Love would let me hold my head up high.

Love would help me write a new story.

Love would be proud of me.

If you sometimes forget how to accept yourself just as you are and not to criticize, shame and judge yourself, I can help you remember.
